Overview
The course is close to the mouth of the Bangpakong River and many of the holes run beside the water and there is a large lake surrounding most of the course which you will encounter as you make your way around. Being so close to the ocean you can often enjoy cooling seas breezes which when they freshen can make club selection trickier. The greens are quite difficult with plenty of bumps and hollows and they are also extremely fast.
The fairways are pretty wide and forgiving and they tend to keep the rough manageable. Many of the fairways are edged with quite significant mounds with more close to the green. Another feature of the course are the many waste bunkers
The clubhouse and the facilities are outstanding with service to match and they serve great food in the air-conditioned restaurant and on the open-air terrace. The courses is very popular with the Japanese and also with locals who often block the course with 5 or 6 balls which can make for a very slow round.
